Revista Foco (Interdisciplinary Studies) is an interdisciplinary scientific journal. Foco's Journal mission is to promote and disseminate scientific knowledge. Its objective is to add value to the work of academics and practitioners through the online publication (free access) of conceptual, practical and theoretical works. Contributions must be unpublished and sent in Portuguese, English or Spanish. The evaluations are carried out by at least two ad hoc reviewers.
Its main objective is to enhance internationalization and, fundamentally, to build a new space for the international insertion and dissemination of research carried out by national and international researchers. In addition, this journal adopts good editorial practices, through intrinsic (quality) and extrinsic (form/presentation) elements and international standards for electronic publishing. Editorial management is managed through Open Journal Systems – OJS, this software being developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) research group at the University of British Columbia. Articles may be submitted in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
As a way of authorship standardization, the Editorial Committee of this scientific journal recommends the inclusion of the ORCID ID in the act of submission. The ORCID identifier can be obtained free of charge at: https://orcid.org/register. The author must accept the standards for presenting the ORCID iD, and include the complete URL, accompanied by the expression "http://", in his registration, right after the e-mail (for example: http://orcid.org/ 0000-0002-1825-0097).
